There are plenty of attractions locally in Clacton - Clacton Pier - with fireworks from the end of the Pier ever Bank Holiday• Clacton  Designer Shopping Village• Two Theatres (The Westcliffe and Princes Theatre) with an excellent summer programme.  The beautiful seafront gardens.  For those with hobbies, there' Clacton golf course 5 minutes drive away and both sea (including off the end of the Pier - day passes available) or freshwater fishing in Weeley.

Annual events in and around Clacton include: May, Suffolk County Show, Ipswich June, Classic Car Show, Clacton July, Tendring Show August, Clacton Carnival August, Air Display including the Red Arrows August, CAMRA beer festival Fireworks on Clacton Pier most bank holidays December, Meet Santa at Colchester Zoo is highly recommended on Saturdays.

Clacton Pier -  rides, side-shows and excellent views of the coastline. Day passes for sea-fishing off the end of the pier.  A firework display most Bank Holidays.  See reviews
